Kew Gardens

The famous Palm Greenhouse built between 1844 and 1848.

On Thursday, I was invited to join the Biology Professor, Steve Davis and his wife Janet, as they took his class on a field trip to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew   Kew Gardens was created in 1759.  It has the world's largest collection of living plants.   We toured several green houses and enjoyed viewing plants in every climate zone.  We also took the Treetop Walkway to get a different perspective of the gardens and the tree's early fall colors.  My favorite spot was the Waterlily House.

The Waterlily House had beautiful and unusual heat loving flowers.
